Driven to Sustain is a commendable venture by two young eco-preneurs.  Motivated by a vision of

positive change they have chosen to take to the road, modelling solutions for all to see.  Bringing a

sophisticated understanding of media and outreach to their information and their adventure they

are helping to fill the most notable gap - showing that highly critical environmental problems are

susceptible to solutions - but only when those solutions are visible and sufficiently attractive to

motivate adoption by others.  It is a significant challenge they have undertaken - one the Sierra Club

in BC is pleased to support as a tangible expression of its own mission to promote innovative

solutions by inspiring and engaging a broad network of grassroots support.

The Nightingale Company is a Canadian film, television and new media Production Company launched by company president Debbie Nightingale in 2000. It is a busy boutique-style firm that produces everything from documentaries to dramas, feature films to online adventures.  The Nightingale Company is currently in production of the second season of The Weight, a dramatic series for The Movie Network and Movie Central from the writing team of George F. Walker and Dani Romain (This is Wonderland).  The company just wrapped production on the feature film The Last New Year by writer/director Garfield Lindsay Miller.  Recent credits include: Get Outta Town, a fast paced teen global adventures series, and ZIXX: Level One, Two & Three, a sci-fi tween series for YTV, co-produced with Savi Media & Thunderbird Films. 

The Nightingale Company is constantly developing innovative new approaches to quality

storytelling, with a special commitment to digital and new media.  Tyson and Cloe's project is

representative of the type of entrepreneurial passion and innovative spirit The Nightingale Company

supports.
